Sind wir mal ehrlich: Eigentlich nicht, denn ein Irish Coffee ist schon etwas wirklich Feines. Der Irish Coffee hat einfach das gewisse Etwas und z\u00e4hlt nicht umsonst zu den <strong>beliebtesten Cocktails und Hei\u00dfgetr\u00e4nken<\/strong> weltweit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr einen <strong>klassischen Irish Coffee<\/strong> \u2013 oder auch Gaelic Coffee\/Caife Gaelach \u2013 braucht man nur vier Zutaten: <strong>Kaffee, Whiskey, Zucker und Sahne<\/strong>. Wie der Name bereits sagt, sollte es sich beim Whiskey um einen <strong>Irish Whiskey<\/strong> handeln. Der Kaffee sollte von guter Qualit\u00e4t sein, denn dieser bestimmt das Grundaroma. Die Zubereitung ist an sich nicht schwer oder aufwendig. Vor allem kann man durch das Abflammen f\u00fcr einen kleinen Showeffekt sorgen. Den erhitzten Whiskey mit dem Zucker in ein hitzefestes Glas geben und mit einem Streichholz abflammen. Die Flammen l\u00f6schen und mit dem hei\u00dfen Kaffee aufgie\u00dfen und kurz verr\u00fchren. Mit einem L\u00f6ffel die halbgeschlagene Sahne oben auflegen. Nun m\u00f6chten wir Ihnen noch <strong>drei Whiskeys ans Herz legen<\/strong>, die ideal f\u00fcr die Zubereitung eines klassischen Irish Coffees sind. Diese sind alle drei recht milde Whiskeys, die preislich im unteren Segment angesiedelt sind. Da der Kaffee einen sehr dominierenden Geschmack mitbringt, muss man keinen \u00fcberaus teuren oder besonds hochwertigen Whiskey f\u00fcr einen Irish Coffee nehmen. Er ist gut, er ist g\u00fcnstig und passt einfach in einen klassischen Irish Coffee. Fr\u00fcher war vor allem der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.banneke.com\/powers-gold-label-43-2-0-70.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Powers Gold Label<\/strong><\/a> als ultimativer Irish Coffee Whiskey angesehen worden, doch zog dieser preislich ein wenig an. Der Paddys schien zun\u00e4chst schlichtweg eine g\u00fcnstigere Alternative. Heute ist er in fast jedem Irish Pub zu Hause und ist der <strong>drittmeist verkaufte Whiskey Irlands<\/strong>. Besonders f\u00fcr einen Irish Whiskey ist dieser sehr mild: S\u00fc\u00dfe T\u00f6ne dominieren das Geschmacksbild, dazu ist er recht getreide- und malzlastig, was sehr gut zum Kaffee passt. Er ist au\u00dferdem ein angenehmer Einsteigerwhiskey, gerade, wenn man sich das erste Mal an irischem Whiskey versucht. Aus unserer Sicht ist die Anschaffung einer Flasche Jameson keine allzu schlechte Investition und auch eine, die man nicht bereuen muss. Im Vergleich zum Paddy bringt der Jameson deutlich mehr W\u00fcrze mit, was jedoch hervorragend zum Kaffee passt. Die oft kritisierten alkoholischen Spitzen sind sp\u00e4testens durch das Abflammen im Irish Coffee nicht mehr zu schmecken. Abgesehen vom Irish Coffee lassen sich diese au\u00dferdem noch f\u00fcr eine <strong>ganze Reihe weiterer Gelegenheiten nutzen<\/strong>. Diese Lik\u00f6re kann man n\u00e4mlich auch wunderbar <strong>im Sommer auf Eis<\/strong> genie\u00dfen.
